Everyone is welcome at the YMCA

Assistance is available for those who cannot afford the vital services the YMCA provides. With Financial Assistance, kids and families find the assets they need in YMCA programs like Membership, Youth Sports, Swim Lessons, Child Care, Parent-Child programs, Summer Camp and others.

Our goal is that no one is turned away from a YMCA program because they cannot afford it. If you or a family you know needs financial assistance to participate in a YMCA program, please talk with the staff at your branch about financial assistance.

Financial assistance for new memberships will not be accepted until January 2013.  New members interested in financial assistance will either have to wait until the new year or pay full price for their membership.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

To submit an application, download the Financial Aid Application PDF, or stop by your local branch and ask for a confidential application. Refer to the instructions on the application.

When submitting an official application, applicants will be required to provide a current tax return and copies of three recent paycheck stubs from all working adults in the household.

The YMCA handles all Financial Assistance applications confidentially.

CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS

Funded by charitable contributions from members of our community, Financial Assistance and other program subsidies give thousands of children and families the opportunity to add to participate in valuable programs. Funds used for Financial Assistance are made generated by the YMCA’s annual Scholarship Campaign.
